Working Principle

The roll crusher features two independently driven rolls. When the crusher is started, the two rolls rotate towards each other in opposite directions, forming a "V"-shaped crushing cavity. Material is fed into the crusher from the hopper at a controlled rate and enters tangentially between the two rolls.

Since the gap between the rolls is precisely adjusted to a relatively small size, and the system's structural strength far exceeds the material's crushing resistance (ensuring that the roll gap does not widen or alter the roll movement even when processing hard materials), the material trapped between the rolls is subjected to intense pressure and is crushed into fine particles as the rolls rotate. The crushed material then moves downward with the rotation of the rolls, exits through the bottom of the machine, and flows out via an inclined chute, completing the entire crushing process.

The distance between the two rolls determines the width of the discharge opening, which defines the acceptable product size of the crushed material.
